what i do
Currently living in Longview, Texas, I am exploring what is next with after graduating with a Fine Arts degree from Biola University. I am an artist. And I am learning how to best use the gifts, talents and opportunities placed before me.
I use materials from the earth, clay, and inventions created, wheels and kilns, to create functional pottery to show, sell, give and use.

statement, or questions
Since graduating the rigors of school I've been looking for inspiration to create. I thought I was past the question of function and art. But there is not one answer or idea. It is a host of exploration. Artist statement? not sure right now. I am trying to remember to keep creating and exploring. And questioning too.Lately I have been intrigued by the process of creating. When we create there is always a risk taken.
Lately I have been intrigued by the process of creating. When we create there is always a risk taken. A risk for perfection and accomplishment. When those goals aren't attained disappointment and failure are assumed. But, do those have to be called those failures? Just because the original goals and standards aren't accomplished doesn't have to make something or someone any less. The definition of 'perfect' is something that can be in how we perceive things. Can we appreciate things just because the do exist, and they were created, and can they now have a new purpose? I sure hope so.
